No Hot Water – Troubleshooting
To troubleshoot when you do not have hot water, there are multiple steps that can be taken:
- Check the water heater to see if the pilot light is on or if the thermostat is set to the appropriate temperature.
- If you have gas, confirm your gas has been turned on with the local utility provider.
- Check the shut-off valves near the water heater to make sure they are open and not closed.
- If you still do not have hot water, it may be a more serious issue. Please place a request in your Residence Portal (provide as much information as possible to help us expedite the repair and maintenance).
